The Store Locator service can be used to locate the nearest store or branch of any business by sending an SMS using your mobile phone to a dedicated short code. Businesses such as banks, store chains, franchisors can use this to increase the reach of their businesses and also to make their products and services easily accessible to their customers.

Customers of a bank can send an SMS with the bank name to a short code. Upon receiving the message, the server sends the customer the location of the nearest branches and ATMs.

Shoppers can locate the nearest franchisee of a store chain by sending an SMS to a dedicated short code with the name of the store. They will receive the location of the nearest franchisee as an SMS on their mobile phone.
